I have a very strong services background and have designed data centre infrastructures located at Cap Gemini & HP/Synstar in the UK and project managed the transition of client banks onto Cognotec's ASP infrastructures. Other projects undertaken include major WAN infrastructure projects and associated transition of services. I produced the network security designs for the Tesco mobile network in Ireland and more recently have gained very good commercial and business knowledge in my with Time Instruments in the UK. I have a consistent track record of maintaining excellent customer relationships and am comfortable working with people at all levels within an organisation.
While working with Digital Equipment/Compaq, I project managed a number of high profile projects including Bank of Ireland Group Treasury’s move to the IFSC, the integration of Bristol and West Building Society into the banks network, migration of the Department of Agriculture network from Token Ring to Ethernet, significant work on Intel Fab 14 and setup the O2 customer care centre in Limerick.
