Cybersecurity is more important to an organization today than ever before and as a highly skilled cybersecurity expert, I help organizations with risk assessments for their internal and external processes as well as for the security of systems and services. I have a lot of experience working closely with IT teams and business units to secure processes, applications and systems.
I have been successfully working in IT security for more than 20 years, 15 of them at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien, where I was not only a lecturer for offensive and defensive security, but also Program Director of the IT-Security Master degree program.
In addition to my employment at the University of Applied Sciences, I have been supporting customers as a sole proprietor since 2008 in designing, establishing and continuously improving their corporate security, in the areas of security audits for web and system pentests, in internal or supplier audits according to ISO 27001 and as a security consultant.
Due to my professional education and my activities I have been able to gain a lot of experience in different industries and areas and help to identify threats but also opportunities to improve the security of organizations in a sustainable way.
In September 2021 my company was renamed to CHK-IT Security e.U., where I am working full-time since then.
