Project #2:

Project Title: UAE Banking.
Client: Commercial Bank of Dubai.
Role: MQ Administrator.

Description:

Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD) is a UAE banking and financial services corporation headquartered in
Deira, Dubai. With more than $10 billion in assets, Gulf Business listed CBD as the 35th largest
bank in the Persian Gulf region. It also figures in the Dubai Financial Market index. Among the most
outstanding activities CBD has been involved with, are the third CBD Youth Athletics competition in
2013 and the fourth edition in the following year. As well as donating AED 2 Million to the "Dress
One Million Needy Children" campaign, CBD signed a memorandum of understanding with the Higher
Colleges of Technology to prepare UAE nationals for a career in the financial sector. CBD was one of
the official sponsors of the Dubai Tour competition.




Roles and Responsibilities:

* Installing & configuring MQ Series on various environments like Windows & Linux.
* Creating the Queues, giving the Dump of the queue to the Application team as per the Request.
* Giving Authorizations to the MQ objects as per the Request.
* Experience in SSL renewal part.
* Configured Web Sphere MQ Queue Managers, Queues, and Channels etc.
* Monitoring and maintenance of Queue Managers, Queues, Channels and Listeners.
* Configured and implemented Distributed Queuing on Client/Server architectures.
* Created and modified MQ objects such as Channels and queues.
* Performed Administration tasks using MQSC commands.
* Extensive experience on configuration and monitoring the MQ Listeners, channel initiators
,Trigger Monitors, MQ Log files and Dead Letter Queues.
