Skills

I like to solve problems and investigate like Sherlock Holmes in Arthur Conan Doyle's books, only in a slightly different and complex area, Cyber Security. Throughout my career, I have been driven by my intellectual curiosity and passion to find answers to the most pressing issues. Whether it's finding the root cause of the problem or giving an improvement idea, I've been able to respond, analyze and take the necessary actions on customer's security incidents.
With my skill set, I bring customer-centric mindfulness that enables companies to retain their intellectual property and the network environment, as protected as possible from possible threats or threat actors. Why not 100% protected? because in Cyber Security there is no question if it will happen, but when and how a possible attack will happen.
My intellectual curiosity also drives me to be a lifelong learner. I recently earned my MSc from POLITEHNICA University of Bucharest, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, with a graduate certificate in Integrated Electrical Systems Engineering in Vehicles. I also plan to accumulate more knowledge in the Kubernetes and Cloud Security area in the near future.

My specialties:
+ Security Operations Center Professional
+ Information Security Consultant
+ SIEM
+ EDR
+ Infosec runbooks
+ Process Improvements
+ Email frauds analysis
+ Proofpoint TAP, Protection Server & CASB
+ Traffic analysis and data correlation
+ other InfoSec tools

I love traveling around the world, to feel the vibration of different cultures, going on restaurants or bistro known only to the locals, and discussing about cars or basically anything having an engine, so if you ever want to bounce ideas off of me, please feel free to contact me: oncesculiviu03@gmail.com or oncesculiviu03@protonmail.com.
