RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for overseeing activities related to telecom, network administration, server and system
administration, and IT security areas.
Key Deliverables:
* Meet with the IT Manager, provide updates, and seek direction when needed.
* Designing, implementing, and testing wireless, Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network
(WAN), internet, and other data communications systems and segments.
* Recognize problems, develop recommendations and solutions, and oversee correction within
assigned specialty.
* Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, printers, security tools, phones,
scanners, and related devices.
* Identify security risks and coordinate their remediation.
* Work with various IT functional groups to ensure Voice and data communication uptime.
* Providing on-call technical support for all data and voice communication problems.
* Maintaining technological proficiency and certification through training and education
sessions, seminars, workshops, etc.
* Ensuring intrinsically safe communication around Central processing area and other volatile
areas.
* Completing special projects and presentations as assigned by the IT Manager.
* Researching and choosing hardware and software products to be deployed and supported by
organization services.
* Ensuring all data centers and telecom rooms are operationally.
* Develop yearly IT plan, strategy and Budget, and submit to the IT Manager.
* Support of remote Access, maintenance and setting up of Videoconferencing environment.
* Work with IT vendors, procure hardware, software and manage licensing.
* IT Equipment and consumables inventory management.
* Regular preventive maintenance.
* User account management and deployment of patches.
