Project: Steelcase Barcode implementation project
Project Description: The project was to implement the Warehouse barcoding Automation with Handling Unit (HU) Management for Steelcase Malaysia and Steelcase China.
Every finished goods produced from production floor will be handle through a packing proposal to be packed. With this approach, the warehouse can have a better traceability and management of the finished goods, utilizing the handheld device to scan the carton label and load the stock into container as well as auto delivery order and shipment document generation.

The project based on Thailand for 5 months and separated in each country for last 3 months. The project was implemented with 6 modules: MM/SD/PP/FI/CO/PM.
Client information: Sime Darby Group is Malaysia’s leading multinational and one of Southeast Asia’s largest conglomerates. The project focuses on the Oil industry of the group. As an integrated plantation company, Sime Darby Plantation is involved in the full spectrum of the palm oil value chain. The Division’s downstream operations are represented in 15 countries. It is involved in the manufacturing and distribution of oils and fats products, oleochemicals and palm oil-based biodiesel.
