Providing Sr. Project / Program Management Professional consulting in the healthcare, retail and financial services/banking industries on both business and technology-related projects. Some positions have been a mix of PM and BA roles.



National Health Plan Insurance Provider (September 2012 – Present)

• Sr. business program manager for health care reform implementation, focusing on annual Affordable Care Act (ACA) implementation of new health benefit plans. Responsible for plan portfolio development and product launch/implementation in conjunction with health and human services (HHS) guidelines, tools and timelines as well as internal timelines and constraints. This includes managing the implementation of benefit plan offerings on and off the federal exchanges including regulatory and compliance activities.

• Coordinate and communicate regional activities such as product development, actuary, sales, marketing, training, system builds. Offer informed recommendations to mitigate risks and dependencies, many of which are external to the company.



National Retailer (September 2011 to September 2012)

• Sr. Program Manager working to enable and implement a multi-year internal IT Service Management capability. This program is the foundation upon which all new infrastructure service providers must execute service management activities. All of which have the same implementation date (big bang approach). Partnering with implementation consulting company, internal enterprise departments, software vendors and several new infrastructure service providers.

• Sr. PM and project management coach on a program to utilize a new netwrk appliance and data structure for analytics and marketing data.

• Facilitating a transformation of a Chinese appliance store chain. This includes supporting organizational restructuring and change; implementing a China-US IT mentoring program and driving transformation progress. I am coaching the mentors in the US and the mentees in China on skills sets necessary to support highly aggressive store growth goals while reducing IT costs.

National Financial Services Company (March 2011 – September 2011)

• Business project manager on integration efforts focusing on an accounting system upgrade and integration of accounts from 3 different systems. Responsible for requirements validation, end-user training, end-user UAT, Pilot and Parallel planning and coordination as well as Production Implementation.

• Business process modeling and procedure definition to support an expanding and merging business unit that supports institutional clients with domestic and international accounts.



National Banking Institution - Card Services (December 2009 – March 2011)

• Responsible for managing BIN-sponsorship projects that provide debit services to state Unemployment, WIC, Child Support programs offered by external parties/processors.

• Managing debit card integration project to support merger/acquisition activities such that acquired customers can continue to use their existing debit card without losing functionality for a specific conversion event period of time.

o Responsible for requirements definition, change control approvals, supporting design and development efforts, planning and management of project resources, business testing (UAT) and production pilot. Utilized an iterative/agile approach to meet enterprise implementation deadlines while ensuring additional functionality and/or improvements were added to each conversion.

o Responsible for relationship with external vendor that is a critical partner and player in this project.

o This project touched all debit card-related applications.



National Financial Services Company (October – December 2009)

• PM/BA for Brokerage and Management Products, focusing on cash products. Working with business partners across the organization to generate high-level requirements and CBAs in support of 3 efforts for the business.

o Identify opportunities to expand the offering of positional money funds, based upon AASI accounts carried over and industry trends.

o Identify opportunities to enhance or modify householding rules to ensure a more pleasant client and advisor experience. This includes competitive analysis, internal data analysis, stakeholder impact analysis, etc.

o Identify overdraft protection alternatives, beyond the existing ODP project. This includes competitive analysis, ensuring regulatory compliance, identifying the good/better/best alternative solutions and obtaining buy-in from stakeholders.



National Banking Institution - Card Services (October 2007 – March 2009)

• Successfully managed two new debit card product initiatives (Prepaid Debit Card and Custom Photo Card), from requirements gathering through customer implementation.

• Successfully defined and implemented processes to clarify project goals and timelines across multiple business units, both internal and external to my client.

• Acted as the business liaison to the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) technology group for the enterprise. This included defining the process to identify and document project requirements and determine the appropriate use of the EDW. Infrastructure teams utilized an iterative approach.

• Acted as the liaison into technology for the Finance business group. This included ensuring project clarity before seeking technology estimates, assisting in project prioritization for the technology units supporting finance applications, and escalating issues as necessary

• Managed a project to consolidate 5 settlement systems into 2, along with establishing direct Visa authorization connectivity for debit cards.

• Responsible for mentoring project managers on the retail project management methodology. Sole point of contact for the POS and Back-office project teams

• Incorporated a \'facilitation\' methodology into the Target culture, through the PMO.
