  • Develops and implements training programs for staff in the 5 UNRWA’s working fields (Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, west Bank, Gaza) on the new performance management policy;

Supports the implementation of SAP project in UNRWA, and produces deliverables under the guidance of the stream lead and ensure that all deliverables are compliant with the Agency standards. During this period, I occupied the following roles in the project:
 
  • SAP Functional consultant, worked in the Blueprint phase to:
  • Interpret business issues into SAP process solutions;
  • Provide business documentation of all processes;
  • Provide third level support in analyzing/solving production issues;
  • Assist UNRWA and external consultants in determining systems’ requirements, analysis, business process documentations and IT specifications;
  • Identify business and IT specifications for SAP ERP based environments.
 
  • Technical Manager in the realization phase to monitor and support all modules to:
  • Ensure that the functional requirements of processes are specified by the Functional Stream Leads team within the required timeframes, and that the specified requirements are sufficient for the Systems Integrator to create the applicable functional specification;
  • Manage progress and escalate any issues not resolvable directly with the stream leads;
  • Assess the received functional specifications;
  • Manage final approval of each functional specification with the owning stream lead or other designated approver;
  • Oversee and coordinate the non-SAP (mainly the UNRWA fleet system) requirements and development to ensure that interfaced systems are ready for all project activities, from test through go-live;
  • Ensure consistency of the technical design of all required objects in terms of project standards and any interrelationships between the objects;
 
  • Go-Live Support Consultant:
  • lead the business teams in the UNRWA’s largest operational field through the Cutover and Go-Live phase;
