  • Cell selection and reselection optimization for new sites
  • Keeping touch with National Authority for Management and Regulation in Communications of Romania for interference areas  situations and non-traffic high RTWP values
  • Performing audits on cell based and RNC based parameters for vendors Huawei, ZTE, NSN
  • Define radio KPIs and alarms, setup their thresholds considering network efficiency and quality of
    service, create local reports used by the other teams
  • Providing support for big projects by thinking parameterization (Radio, Mobility, Transport,etc )
  • Meetings with vendors as technical expert, to present and discus network issues, implement features and offer feedback.
  • Modifying key parameters of the network and communicating them to the personnel
    responsible with operating the changes
  • Analyzing Pre and Post KPI evolution after any testing of hardware or software upgrade or new elements/features added to the network.
  • Traffic load prediction and simulation
The main responsibilities in our department, called QoS (Quality of Service) doesn’t involve small projects. In most cases we work on top worst cells and we have a large view of the network (five employees for entire network).
