I started my career as a young engineer in Alcatel Spain working in an international R&D project for the European Space Agency on satellite communications. Afterwards I became a public officer in CDTI reviewing R&D projects on information and communication technologies assigned to national programmes funding business innovation in Spain. In 1991 I joined Fundesco to work in international projects funded by the European Commission. When I left in 1999, and after a short period in Telefónica in a marketing role, I started my career as freelance business consultant in 2002. Since then I have been working for customers in different sectors (air transport, meteorological information, manufacturing, telecommunications, daily press, etc.) collaborating in several phases (understanding user needs, designing, budgeting, planning, implementing, testing, delivering, documenting) of projects aimed to help customers in their everyday business activities.
Project history
Manuel Fernandez (mfernandez@isdefe.es) is head of area in the transport and environment division in Isdefe. I worked directly for him as external consultant in projects for Spain civil aviation authority and national meteorological service for almost ten years. Then Miguel Angel Tapia (matapia@europavia.es) can also be a reference about my involvement in a project for TEDAE, which is Spain business association for space, military and aeronautical manufacturers.
