“From a business perspective it seems to me that the service levels from HPE since the transition of infrastructure support from our internal T & O team have not been very good - slow and expensive is the prevailing view.
But then today, in response to a specific concern I raised about the time and cost involved in setting up a NAS server to receive reports via. SFTP file feed, I connected with Elza and I was delighted to find that she is knowledgeable, capable, and totally committed to making this relationship work well, both for CIBC and for HPE.
Elza noted that she is working through the challenges we’re all experiencing with an aim to fix the process properly and not just deal with one-off issues. She also offered to schedule regular calls with me, or to be available for a call whenever there is an issue.
So I don’t really know if the service will improve, nor am I sure if the problems are with CIBC, HPE or both, but I was pleased to connect with Elza who seems like a great resource to know when things go off the rails.
I hope that you can pass this along to Elza’s management team, as people who work hard and are really making the effort to get things done should be recognized.

Overall, this release has been very successful. I know it looks like there are a lot of issues in PROD but it’s important to note how minor these are. Most of them are purely cosmetic and they are being resolved on a daily basis. So minor, that we are ready to move this release into a steady state to our dialer team from the project team. (8 Days after our launch). I’m not sure if everyone knows that the NCC was the first department in the bank to have blended calling deployed, and with the amount of minor issues I can only image every deployment afterwards will be even smoother.
