Senior Software Engineer
BMO is the renowned banking group of Canada. The Middleware SOA Projects involves setup, configuration of the enterprise services that are used across the various groups in the organization. All the business logic is implemented using IBM WMB using the orchestrated calls to multiple hosts like siebel/siebel row and BPM etc.
Responsibilities/Activities and Recognition:
  • Primary developer from BMO SOA (middleware) team for FundController and projects owning full responsibility from development to Go-Live.
  • Performed IIB Migration from IBM Cast Iron to IBM IIB SME role and responsibilities for NorthMill project in the platform.
  • Developed IBM IIB and IBM Cast Iron projects on SOA platform
  • Managed multiple project deliveries with cost efficient resource and time management.
  • Administered Database and setup SIT Database for all the existing services.
  • Performed deployment, import/export activities using deployment policies.

All the business logic is implemented using IBM IIB and all the security is implemented using CA API management tool Layer 7.
Responsibilities:
  • Managed and developed Banking Projects - Hashkey, Profile Notification and Equifax single handedly.
  • Developed projects using CA Layer 7 and IBM IIB- implemented policies and assertions in Layer7 and orchestration in IIB.

The Kroger Project involves developing the integration components so as to develop an integrated solution for the retail client across the globe. All the middleware requirements coming in for developing the SOA services using IBM IIB and MQ.

Responsibilities/Activities and Recognition:
  • Key resource for Retail Projects in Kroger including Jewelry Information System (JIS), jewelers BeanStore, EMS to POS(point of Sale) Transactions.
  • Worked on Agile Model under tight timelines in project and proved successful in all services implementations.
  • Acted as a consumer as well as provider for web services over SOAP/HTTP and SOAP/HTTPS that involved validation and further transformation of request/response structures.
  • Generated app, message and error logs including all the required inbound/outbound data for a transaction with error details(if any). Also captured timing logs for each transaction and its corresponding retries with its relevant details.
