In the career span of 23 years, majorly 18 years worked in the Automotive Product design and development of CAB along with Project management, which mainly consist of BIW, Interior and Exterior trims, Mechanisms.

In the career span of 23 years, majorly 18 years worked in the Automotive Product design and development of CAB along with Project management, which mainly consist of BIW, Interior and Exterior trims, Mechanisms.
- Worked on number of vehicle development programs for full vehicle life cycle from Market survey to till production. It include concept to Introduction stage including ideas generation & screening, creation of road map value proposition, concept definition, business case development, Design, validation, project planning, risk management, etc.
- Expert in Project Design reviews internal Cabin (Body, Trim, Mechanism & HVAC) and other design aggregates to monitor design issues, failure analysis, Project timeline analysis, new technology enhancements, innovative solutions, weight optimisation, Performance, DFM, DFA, DFS, DFSS Design for six sigma, SE, etc.
- Working closely with all Design aggregates from Service & Marketing (Including Customer interactions), Internal ERC & Plant, APL, PE to achieve team goals.
- Expert in the area of SE, Production Engineering- Sheet Metal Forming Simulations, Method plan, Sheet Metal Dies, Fixtures, Plastic Molds and Manufacturing of tools too. All types vehicle panels gone thru e.g. Sumo, Safari (STORM), Nano, Indica, ACE, Prima, Xenon etc.
- New strategies for Design development, upcoming challenges in Vehicle OEMs.
- Initiator for new technology, material, process and design concept in the department and horizontal deployment.
- Driven with inclusive leadership style and proven success interfacing with both customers and peers, holding excellent negotiation, leadership and analytical skills.
- Awarded “Black belt” in forming simulation, MUL for Automotive sheet Metal Panels by Forming Technologies Incorporation, at Berlington in CANADA. (2013- 14)
- Implemented successfully forming simulation (First stage simulation) for Product designer for first time in TATA Motors to reduce DFM feedback and improve yield (Material Utilization) by effective nesting.
- Trained 300 + engineers in Tata Motors to make expert in forming simulation.
- Paper Presented at IIT Powai, Mumbai for TATA Motors Design strategies for Light weighting in Small Commercial Vehicles.
- Major Contribution in increase in Material Yield from 58 % to 63 in New Program ACE INTRA
- Increased Use of high strength steel in SCV and started in all CV Vehicles as horizontal deployment.
- Worked of New Technologies like use of composite material for floor in Loadbody and front crash member.
- Awarded “Highest ICR Contributor” 13Cr for an idea (Saving /Year an ICR Idea) in 2015 in all Tata Motor including CV and PV.
- Horizontal deployment of ICR Ideas worked out for SCV by implementing in Pick-up, LCVs, HCVs and Passenger CARs too.
- Responsible for ERC CAB design’s Quality Process representative. Established Paperless department first time in TATA Motors.
- Carried out a study with crash team to assess the effect of using stamped component from formability software in crash test instead of using CAD components with constant thickness.
- Worked on Al panels while working in PE. Also worked for outside OEs like Ford, Honda and Toyota for Sheet Metal Dies development.
