Skills

I am a systems analyst and developer with 30 years of experience in the technology area. I basically worked on 3 large companies: Sul América Seguros, Banco Espirito Santo in Portugal and Datamec / Unisys Brasil. I started as a trainee in South America Insurance and have already worked in various functions as a programmer, analyst, architect and team leader, developing systems and applications. I have solid knowledge in relational databases such as DB2 and ORACLE and in COBOL language, whether for mainframe environment or low platform with MF COBOL.

Project history

* In South America Insurance, I started as a programming trainee. I worked for several years as a developer using Cobol, CSP, CICS and Easytrive databases, as well as hierarchical and relational databases (DB2). I have created many codes for the insurance and accounting areas. I also worked as a systems analyst, creating projects for the accounting area of the company. I left the company acting as a team leader.

* In Portugal, at Banco Espirito Santo, I worked on major projects such as: Unisys environment migration to IBM environment, millennium bug and EURO implementation. In addition to these projects, I developed a number of apps where new banking products were made available to the market and many apps to the most diverse internal areas of the bank. Although all of them are important projects, what gave me most pleasure and pride was the development of the internet banking back-end.

* At Unisys Brasil, I worked as a developer analyst, responsible for the maintenance and creation of several Caixa Economica Federal customer service projects of the Brazilian government, focused on housing finance. In addition to the various developments, two major projects deserve special mention. The first was the downsize of all IBM platform systems, converting hundreds of code written in COBOL and CICS, to COBOL MF with front-end in Java, and the second to the migration of DB2 to Oracle databases.

Local Availability

Only available in these countries: Brazil
In Rio de Janeiro I have total flexibility and I have no impediment to travel to other states. Despite being available for international travel, I prefer Portugal because my daughter studied in Coimbra.
