On current position I act as an expert within different engineering areas, especially European Train Control System (ETCS) and European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS).
I'm involved in several engineering projects within European countries. These projects usually consist of several stages, including testing, validation, analysis as well as installation and integration activities.
I act as european ERTMS & ETCS coordinator with strong cooperation within international teams.
This includes coordinating workpackages for specific countries, test planning, verification, analysis activities as well as introducing of new team members into european train control system and automatic train protection projects.
I also give advisory on test tools development, user interface, usability.
Over the years I have collected engineering knowledge, escpecially within testing and validation process of complex control systems. By cooperating on regular basis with international team of people I find myself as an international team player. I consider multicultural teams as a great motor to develop new skills and bring great ideas into fruition.

• Major in onboard software tests,
• Leading laboratory and field test campaigns of onboard systems in European countries ,
• Scripting test cases with reference to specification, requirements, baselines,
• Preparing test reports, collecting logs during and after tests, summarizing results,
• Working in European test laboratories,
• Participation in testing lifecycle process from pre-tests, system, functional until customer
acceptance tests (V-model system development lifecycle),
• Verification, validation of test results with compliance to specification and requirements,
• Integrating and setting up onboard system equipment,
• Software configuration and installation across different subsystems and platforms,
• Development of simple applications to enhance testing process,
• Working with prototype onboard systems and test vehicles,
• Analyzing incidents and failures based on the data from field and lab,

Inter-city service between Amsterdam and Brussels

On the position of ERTMS Engineer I acted as Onboard software test and analysis engineer for NL\BE project (Amsterdam - Brussels).

Inter-city service between Amsterdam and Brussels were cut by half an hour on April 9, when trains were re-routed to run via the entire length of HSL South in the Netherlands and Belgium’s high-speed Line 4.

Bombardier TWINDEXX trains service in Switzerland

On the position of ERTMS Engineer I acted as Onboard software test and analysis engineer for Swiss SBB project (Twindexx)
Switzerland’s BAV has granted the operating licence to Swiss Federal Railways’ (SBB) new Bombardier TWINDEXX trains for a period of two years.
As an onboard software test engineer I was involved in test campaigns performed in Switzerland on vehicles equipped with ATP safety system, preparation of test plans, test data, data analysis, NCR management, providing input of authorisation process. I spent quite amount of time on test vehicles especially on modern signalling tracks equipped with safety systems (ETCS Level 2).
