As an e-commerce executive at Yas Island Rotana and Centro Yas Island hotels, I have performed
numerous online and offline tasks to achieve digital marketing goals set by corporate ecommerce
management. My major task was to run online and offline marketing campaigns within the budget
assigned by the corporate director of marketing for best ROI.
Responsibilities:
* Operated Guestware CRM system for Hotel Management (Emails, Client Database, Website Updates,
Insights, Trends, Marketing, etc.)
* Online marketing and advertising planning for Search Engine, Social Media and other Third-Party
website platforms for both hotels.
* Created and implemented Search Engine Optimization tactics to improve website traffic and
branding on Search Engine.
* Managed and executed paid advertising campaigns on Google Search, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook,
LinkedIn, Roundmenu, Time Out Abu Dhabi, GroupOn and other third-party channels.
* Created multiple competitions on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to promote latest deals and
promotions, and to engage followers.
* Optimized social media and other 3rd party channels in order to achieve the best results and
achieve the target KPIs (CPA, CPC, CR, etc.)
* Driving organic search engine traffic through search engine optimization of each and every page
and posts.
* Hotel review channels: TripAdvisor, Booking.com, Google places, HolidayCheck, Trivago added in my
daily task list.
* With the help of F&B, sales and marketing team I have covered various events and occasions.
Photography of those events using hotels' DSLR camera and make graphical representations of those
images using Photoshop & other tools.
* Meeting with local (UAE) bloggers and encourage them to write reviews on hotel, restaurants and
outlets.
* Created reports using Hotel's Website Analytics tools (Aracert online marketing tool, Revinate
Hotel analytics).
* Liaising with Agencies to develop on-brand visuals for pitches and campaigns (Graphics designing,
website content, banner and content advertising etc).
* Worked with 3rd party websites to promote Hotel presence and to increase revenue (Yasisland.ae,
Zomato etc).
* Work with General Manager, Director of Marketing and Director of Food and Beverages to make
different deals, discount packages for hotels.
* Assist in evaluating the performance of hotel's branded website and give suggestions for how to
promote and improve the presence of the hotel on the web, with the intention of increasing number
of bookings and keeping the website up to date.
* Monitor, implement and execute the active presence of the property on all Social Media tools to
maximize the online exposure of the property.
* Ensure the property's content (photography & descriptions) in all online channels remain accurate
and brand compliant.
* Work with corporate e-commerce team to improve website, social media, search engine and other
marketing plan to increase brand exposure and revenue.
