Project description : This initiative had a very high impact while establishing a central, globally available data analysis
platform. During the period, conceptual and technical foundations were implemented. The main challenges were to map a
very heterogeneous landscape, integrate a wide variety of source systems and technical requirements, efficiently bringing
specialists and users together, mediating in difficult environments and ultimately establishing a modern and future proof

Project description : The entire existing data warehouse based on Pentaho and Vectorwise was rebuilt on the Microsoft
BI stack. For this purpose, a generic approach with a metadata-driven architecture / modeling was chosen. Corresponding
data structures, loading routines, semantic layers and reports were created. Particular attention was paid to the use of
patterns and the automated generation of data structures and loading routines.
