Responsible of IT department, analysis, design and development of systems, Hardware infrastructure,
communications and IT security.
Detection of needsand opportunities for improvement, participating in projects of continuous
improvement and Six Sigma.
Major achievements
* Migration and rollout of the proprietary ERP to SAP R3, this project has optimized the human
and technological resources and has allowed reduce costs and increase efficiency.
* I supervised the migration of the local platform to Active Directory, Exchange Server to the
global standard of the company, migrating to outsourcing environment, with DHCP servers /
Files servers / Domain Servers, and installation standardized PCs images. The costs were
reduced in the area of IT software licensing and communications 50%.
* Implementation a centralized printing scheme, the costs of consumable and printer maintenance
has been reduced in 50 and 70%.
* I did the re-engineering and migration of the "Sales and distribution module", from COBOL
platform to Oracle 10g platform, developed with Report Forms tools ,and PL / SQL in addition
to developments in COBOL with embedded SQL. This project has allowed improve efficiency and
provide strategic information.
* I made the analysis, design and development of the specific MM and logistic module, based on
bar code technology. This module improve the traceability of each finished goods, allowed
reduce the physical space in warehouse deposits and reduce immobilized stocks and achieve
efficiency in planning production by reducing costs.
* Conversion of the company main system for Y2k adaptation, more than 1000 programs converted
with IT team, has allowed important costs saving in contracts of external programmers.
* I fully developed the ERP of the company developed in COBOL language on platforms HP9000 /
Risc / Itanium / HP-UX; Intel i386 / Windows client and server.
