Managing Director
Banat Agri Group (Other, 50-250 employees)

As managing director I restructured all processes and units of the farming group: 9000 ha crop land, 7000 ha grassland, 1500 beef and dairy cattle breeding Limousin and Fleckvieh-Simmental-RH, 180 staff, renovated workshops, feed mill, 2 grain storages 28000 t, (too) many machines and vehicles.  

Despite big losses to start at and thus rough economic pressure particular liquidity wise I could turn around the conventional farming operation within a short period of time. To become profitable I concluded fact based some drastic cuts, like adapting share of specific crops and livestock branches, also replacing too many old machinery high in repair and parts. With all staff well directed we could bring up crop, meat and milk yield significantly of about 50-100% more.

Complementary, central steering based on daily reporting allowing strict production and cost controlling ensured the success. Thus implementing a documented machinery maintenance check system, while still invested in machinery replacement about 5 million EUR. Overall key basis was to support, hire and replace staff forming clearly improved work habit forming productive teams.
