    • Refinitiv
    • >10.000 employees
    • Banks and financial services
  • Senior Design Consultant
    • Develop and design a collapsed headend Data Centre for Electron Realtime (ERT) and Electron as a Service (EaaS). Typically within Finance and Risk each DC types provide certain Clients with various Refinitiv products. Wth the converging of these headends, Refinitiv is able to converge the platform and service all client types across the Core network and between the POPs bring massive cost savings and a more optimal network.

    • Technical lead on exit of specific Data Centres in the US due to the buyout of financial & risk arm of Thomson Reuters. This includes requirements gathering, solution development, stakeholder management, design validation and standard definition for all data products and services within the data centre.

    • Develop, Design and test the upgrade of Service Hub for Electron Managed Service to support several customers such as Deutche bank. This involved the upgrade of bandwidth to N*10G between Cisco ASR’s and Juniper EX9208’s using ECMP technology to ensure equal cost load-sharing with Fast convergence failover on the server side and upgrade of N*10G for Bundle-Ethernet between Cisco ASR and Juniper Ex9208 on the client side.

    • Design solutions for numerous core and distribution network enhancements to allow for efficiency and expansion

    • Banks and financial services
  • Senior Design Consultant
    • Several deployments of network design and development using network automaton processes to run several end to end tests and implementation

    • Lifecycle management for Core WAN and Distribution platforms for the purpose of increasing return on investment by employing ways to lower cost of ownership: renegotiating support contracts, network device auditing and refreshing. Lab configuration automation, and working with the CSM Application to help automate Software upgrades in the estate using Cisco’s CSM tool

    • Certification of several features on the Cisco 3548-X for use on the collections platform as a market distribution device which include technologies such as Unicast and Multicast Extranet, VRF-Aware NAT, PIM-SSM

    • Certification of the use of 4byte ASN across multi-vendor routing devices over core, distribution and internet access networks. Devices include Junipers and Cisco over divers software versions.
