Introduction

My great interest in simulation and modeling in the field of lasers and optics led me to develop graphical user interfaces to visualize models of physics. The visualization of mathematical equations and functions is, how I believe, a great tool to better understand dry mathematical relationships. The same concept also applies to the visualization and interpretation of data. The correct interpretation of data can reveal a lot of important information about the system that generates the data. In my opinion, the analysis of data and the derivation of appropriate measures is therefore crucial for continuous progress and development.

Since my first contact with plotting and analyzing data, my interest in new methods and technologies has grown steadily. I have experience in using Python for modeling & simulation, data analysis and visualization as well as in creating graphical user interfaces (Qt-GUI) for stand-alone software. For data processing and storage I am familiar with SQL, SQLight, and MySQL(MariaDB) data queries for creating interactive dashboards and web applications. To learn programming skills and "best practice" methods, I have completed online courses for data science, machine learning, SQL, PHP, Python, statistics etc. from codecademy.com. During my last employment as Quality System and Standards Engineer I gained valuable experience in data analysis, databases, IT systems and software administration.

In 2018 I finished my studies at the University of Marburg, Department of Physics, in the international master program "Functional Materials" with the M.Sc. My master thesis with the title "Improvement and characterization of a VECSEL based THz source" was graded very good. During my master thesis I acquired profound knowledge of VECSEL lasers and nonlinear frequency conversion in the far infrared frequency range (THz). Before that I graduated at the University of Applied Sciences Offenburg in the course "Material Engineering" with the B.Eng.

My working method is characterized by clear and structured methods for the goal-oriented solution of complex problems. I like to get to the bottom of the questions in order to work out comprehensive solutions.
