Responsibilities: To understand the functional requirements in detail and providing technical solution, responsible for all kind of data reporting in Power BI and building ETL on full azure services

 

  • Developing ETL from different kind of source by azure pipeline and SSIS package, Job and pipeline Monitoring, identifying discrepancies and recording the variances for business to research and remediate.
  • Building data model/Cube in Azure analysis service for power bi reporting purpose.
  • Creating Facts, Dimension, measures, relationships  on business rule

Role: Experience in Power BI, SSIS Data Pull, SSAS Cube generation and measure creation/calculation Data Validation and Verification, Data Conversion, Data Migrations and Data Mining.

 

  • Build SSIS package to get data from heterogeneous sources and automate that through sequel jobs
  • Extensively used SQL Server database to test the Data Validity and Integrity for Data Updates, Deletes & Inserts. Written several complex SQL, MDX queries for data verification and data quality checks.
  • Building analysis cube with calculated measure and derived column and automate that through sequel jobs
