I am responsible for post-sales Consultancy at Customer sites.
Currently I do work at the IT-Data Centre of Germanies biggest Banking group, the
cooperative bank.
My responsibility is the migration of SEPA data stream for new customer banks,
which will host their IT at this Data Centre.
Tools and environments, I am currently using is IBM Mainframe, IBM DB2
Database and IBM DataStage.
Currently I do work at the IT-Data Centre of Germanies biggest Banking group, the
cooperative bank.

Transformation into an architecture which is both for IT and business teams
understandable. Presentation, communication, and negotiation of Architecture.
In a client-focused Data-Warehouse I was responsible for programming of
premium and claims data for several years into Staging Area and Star Schema
with DataStage and thereafter the same for regular monthly updates.
Thereafter I made up a concept for the Automation of the monthly loading
processes in this project and supervised its programming process. We succeeded
in reducing the monthly manual input for job preparation, administration and
testing from 24 man-days down to 4 man-days per month.
Appling the same Automation Framework to other In-House-Data Warehouses by
generalizing processes. One of them was using SAS Base and SAS processes were
atomized. In the SAS-DWH the monthly workload was reduced from 20 man-days
which were provided by an external company down to 2 man-days for internal
employees.
Team-Lead of 5 persons in the evaluation phase of a DataMart for Solvency-II-
purposes. Focus was several operations claims databases. Compatibility of Data,
Quality checks (using IBM Profile Stage), Analyses, Discussion with end-users and
Data providers, and compiling the business requirements into a document.
Concept, Design and Programming of an application for 8 world-wide subsidiaries
for to transfer monthly claims-, policy- and premium-data in an XML-File. The
transfer before was by MS-Excel-Files, which made a lot of trouble by loading
them into a SAS-DWH (SAS is not to blame) the local DB is now MS-Access. The
system was realized with VBA. By this we succeed in reducing the time for loading
from 2 man-days down to 2 hours. Beside this the technical quality rose also.
