NUMAN is sub sytem in HIDCMS. The platforms (MetaVante and CAS) send the member eligibility load
file daily to NUMAN. The NUMAN system is used to generate 16 digit card number, expiration date of
the card and the ledger number (account number) for those member and sends the daily extract of
expiration date and last 4 digits of ledger account number to HIDCMS. HIDCMS finds the card request
in daily card request file by matching SSN, Member ID and Group ID from the NUMAN extract. If it
matches, the request is send to vendor for printing the cards. If it does not match, the card
request is send to WRAP file. The system will continue to match this request for 21 days. If the
request is in WRAP for more than 21 days, the request is cancelled.
