company for implementation of SAP. As a global team member and project manager for India, I
was given responsibility to implement SAP in India. My responsibilities include preparation of
Schedule, Budget, Charters, defining team members and handling, resolving issues and if
necessary, escalating to higher authorities. I was discussing and finalizing all the business
processes and involved in unit and integrated testing etc. Overall responsibility for
successful implementation of SAP in India.

and is also accredited with QS-9000 Certification with total staff of about 500 employees at
Bharuch Plant, 400 employees at Lonavala Plant with 10 nos. of Depots and 4 Regional Offices

I was given responsibility to implement SAP as a project manager. I was involved in all the
phases of project preparation like preparation of project implementation methodology,
schedule, charter and team building. Arranging meetings and doing presentation with steering
committee for project status. Resolving issues and if necessary, escalating to higher
authorities. I was involved in discussion of all the business processes and in unit and
integrated testing etc. Acceptance of the deliverables or obtaining the necessary acceptance
sign-off from concerned department, wherever so required. I was also taking care in post-go
live support.

I had successfully implemented SAP in ABC Bearings Ltd., Bharuch and I was also invited by SAP
Singapore in FKOF meeting & partner's congress to present the successful and in time

When I joined this company, I was given responsibility to provide direction for determining
systems requirements, Hardware and Software acquisition, ERP Evaluation and making
recommendations to the management. Establishment of Network, Estimating & monitoring of Budget
and managing the project schedule and delivery within define time & budget in line with HO. We
had developed and implemented ERP under Oracle and IDS.

A Korea based company commenced their project DHDS Util./Offsite for Indian Oil
Corporation Ltd. (IOCL), Gujarat Refinery at Vadodara in IOCL with total staff of about
Employees at site office. The project is of Dehydration of Sulfur about Rs. 300 crores
starting from erection to commissioning.

I was the first person appointed by Daelim Engineering Company in System Department when they
commenced their project for IOCL Refinery at Vadodara. I was given responsibility to establish
the system department and implementation of ERP which was brought by them from Korea/HO. I was
responsible for studying the requirements and working to meet the need of the business and
user and monitoring the changes required. I had successfully established IT department and
implemented ERP e.g. appointed Programmers, network engineers, Procurement of Hardware and
Software, established Local Area Network for entire office and started Internet connectivity
for fast and easy communication with Korea/HO for daily reporting. All the departmental head
were Koreans accept in system department.

Baroda Carbons Ltd.

A company was engaged in manufacturing of Activated Carbons with total staff of about
90 employees at corporate office, Vadodara and at plant about 250 employees. Company was also
diversified in various companies i.e. Textiles unit, Dying unit, Synthetic unit with 100% EOU,
Plant at Kadi.

Being an Officer and Sr. Officer (EDP), I was working as a programmer and responsible
for the implementation of developed integrated systems. I was also involved in troubleshooting
of hardware and software. I was one of the team members for giving training to the end users.
After becoming Asst. Manager, I was given independent charge of 3 Textile Units. In this
Units, I was responsible for the development of systems, dealing with vendors for the purchase
of Hardware, Software and AMCs for plant. Budget Preparation and approval by Group EDP
in-charge. Finally, in the year 1995, I become an EDP In-Charge of the group Company.
