Description SAP-MS project objective is to provide SAP MS Support and Maintenance Services
(Database administration, Application administration, R/3 Administration, Service
provision) for all the service lines for SAP Internal, EMEA and US customers.
Role Team Member
Responsibilities SAP Basis Activities:
* Performing routine health checks to check the status of the system.
* Tickets are handled for internal systems, EMEA and US customers.
* Testing CRM portals and URLS.
* Post installation of almost all SAP systems including client
Copy, STMS, etc.
* Performing transports and profile parameter changes
* Applying Notes SNOTE
* Applying Support Packs
* System Copy/Refresh
* Trouble shooting of SAP R/3
* Client copy / Client export / Client import / Client delete
* Defining and scheduling the background jobs and setting up of operation mode.
* Database Related transactions like DB02, DB12, DB13, DB14, DB16 etc.
* User Administration (SU01, SU10, SUGR, SUIM etc.)
* Profile and role maintenance (PFCG)
* Database Space management, Archive Space Management
* Starting and stopping Listener
* Usage of BRTOOLS Starting and stopping DB, Table space administration
(adding and resizing of datafile), Index creation, Changing archive log mode.
* Reboot of OS via MMC to Stop and Start SAP.
* Handling Cluster Administrator.
* Start and stop of OS services like CCMS, OS collector.
