Design and development of message flows as per high-level and low-level
specifications using ESQL. Conversion of XML input messages to SWIFT
messages. Creation of XML output structures. First phase of a project for
implementation of SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) implemented
successfully and on time.

Planning and development of message flows for architected framework
solution. Conversion of existing business processes to Message Broker
flows. Design and development of message flows as per high-level and
low-level specifications using ESQL. This included development of code
to interact with various databases on Sybase, MS SQL and Oracle. As a
senior team member, I was also responsible for providing formal training
and general guidance to junior team members.

* Developed and ran courses in WebSphere MQ,
WebSphere Message Broker, CICS and VSE for customers.
* Setup and implementation of MQ and Message Broker with SAP
Adapter.
* Responsible for supporting IBM customers on WebSphere MQ,

tuning and problem determination on site. Also Level 2 support
for VSE customers, and general OS/390 support. Responsible
for teaching courses in WebSphere Message Broker, MQSeries,
z/Series and CICS.

* Setup and use of MQSeries Integrator as part of large Proof of

* Major upgrade project for VSE customer to VSE/ESA 2.6.3.
* Install and setup of MQSeries for VSE/ESA as Proof of Concept
project for Cape Town customer.
* Installed and set up MQSeries connectivity between HP-UX and
Windows NT for an oil company in Cape Town.
* Ran various projects to implement Web access for CICS-based
