My name is Constantinos Lazarides and I am the Founder and CEO of Elysium Sagitta SRL, Business and Management Consulting firm based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
Approximately 26 years ago I began my career as a Quantity Surveyor and then moved up the ladder as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, Commercial and Contracts Manager, Senior Commercial and Contracts Manager, Legal Advisor, leading to my current position as Founder and CEO of my own companies. offering my services as a Contracts Expert and Risk Management Consultant. Professionally experienced with a diverse range of multiple projects throughout my 26+ year career, I was introduced to stakeholder management where I became very adept. International opportunity arose in 2001 which I took on. This led me to become involved with higher profile contracts combined with various promotions along the way.
By 2011 I had amassed a wealth of expertise in Legal and Contract formulation, Contract Negotiation and Risk management of projects as well as having taken the role of Management Consultant on multiple occasions; - Adept in Residential property, Commercial property, Infrastructure services; - Structures, Land Development, High Rise Buildings, Residential and Commercial Properties, Highways, Utilities, Rail, Civils as well as having had a lot of expertise in Litigation, Arbitration, Adjudication, have led multiple Negotiations and resolution of contractual and legal disputes in general. All of this whilst being fortunate enough to have been involved with some of the most prestigious projects and clients in the World.

- Leading corporate strategic and tactical legal initiatives.
- Providing senior management with effective advice on company strategies and their implementation as well as their legal implications in all Contentious as well as Non-Contentious dealings.
- Managing all legal and contractual functions, obtaining and overseeing the work of any outside appointed counsel. Drafting and reviewing all contract documentation (JCT, NEC3, NEC4, ICC, FIDIC, Fixed Price, Fixed Cost, Cost Reimbursable, Concession Contracts, Joint Venture Agreements, Memorandum Of Understanding, Supply Contracts, and Compliance Service Agreements, Bespoke and others) as well as preparing respective Risk Registers.
- Representing Company in Pre and Post Legal and Contract Negotiations, Service Level Agreement management and dispute resolution for their Clients, potential joint venture partners, sub-contractors, suppliers, insurance companies, bonds, and others.
- Participating in the definition and development of corporate policies, procedures and programs and providing continuing counsel and guidance on legal matters and on the legal implications of all matters.
- Serving as the legal advisor on all major business transactions, including acquisitions and divestitures.
- Assessing the merits of major court cases filed against or on behalf of the company, working with the appropriate executive(s) to define a strategic defence, coordinating and managing outside appointed counsels and approving settlements of disputes where warranted.
- Assuming ultimate responsibility for ensuring that the company conducts its business in compliance with all applicable Laws and Regulations.
- Structuring and managing the company’s internal legal function and staff and creating policies and implementing Frameworks.
- Advising on legal aspects of the company’s financing, including assessing and advising on current and future business structures and legal entities.
- Advising the Company in respect of its legal and contractual obligations; keeping Company advised on updates and changes to such legal and regulatory obligations and providing all necessary training to management and internal departments.
