BRD-Groupe Société Générale (Romanian Development Bank) or BRD-SocGen, is a Romanian bank
owned by the French financial group Société Générale. BRD is 58.32% of the Société Générale
Group, one of the largest European financial services groups. The group has 154,000 employees in
76 countries and 32 million customers worldwide, in three key activities: - Retail banking in France -
International retail banking, financial services and insurance - Corporate & investment banking,
private banking, asset management and investor services. In 2009, BRD controlled 14% of the assets
of the banking system, being exceeded only by BCR, with 19.1%. In 2012, BRD reaches the first place
in the factoring market with a market share of 35%
- Verification of credit documentation
- Financial analysis of clients requesting financing;
- Analysis of the lending operations from the risk point of view and presentation of the
recommendation on the financing requests for the SME clients
- The financing proposal and the presentation of the credit committee file;
- Permanent monitoring of credit agreements with the back office department
