Skills

Hello,
I’m Bernardita. I’m from Argentina, which makes me a Spanish native speaker and I have a professional level of English. I’ve been working in Advertising for the past 8 years. I was lucky enough to work for very different clients and markets.
My first job was as Jr Copywriter in Steinbranding. That job lasted only one year due to fee-related issues, but for me was very rewarding and an opportunity to work as a creative writer for on-air promotions and dive into the entertainment world.
My career changed when I started in Geometry Global as an Account Executive. My area of expertise then were events, activations, and point-on-sales promotions. It was the first time that I worked for mainstream brands with an understanding of business and strategic achievements. The most interesting of the 3 and a half years that I spend in the agency, was being a part of the strategic repositioning of Coca-Cola.
Then, I was for 2 years and a half on BBDO as an Account Manager. Here the relationship with the brands was much closer. We worked as strategic partners, creating our brief from the business problems, thinking of the brand strategies from scratch, and delivering 360° campaigns. For me, the most memorable works that I had the pleasure to be a part of, were two. 1) Working for Vital, a brand that was almost off-market because they weren’t selling enough. We detect an incredible insight and create a brand proposal that had outstanding results. With a TV commercial and a strong digital strategy, we manage to keep Vital on market. And 2) Landing the sustainable platform of Corona in Argentina, doing a massive activation with a digital campaign. We put a 100-ton tank, which for 15 days was all covered with waste, in the middle of the Retiro train station to say PLASTIC DOEN’T BELONG IN THE OCEAN.
For more than a year I’ve been in Digitas Buenos Aires. Here, I was able to gain more knowledge about digital, creating campaigns that are the perfect mix of strategy (both brand and media), creativity, and data. We work not only with multi-disciplinary teams on the inside but alongside Google and Facebook to create digital-first campaigns. The last campaign that we did for Oreo had as one of its main assets a bot that was selected by Google as a successful case to inspire others.
Now, I’m a part of GUT Buenos Aires. An amazing independent agency full of professional people who I learn from every day.

This brief summary of my career shows the levels of involvement that I have with the brands that I worked and work for. From strategy, through creativity, to results. In each one of those campaigns, I’m the one keeping motivated and organized all the different stakeholders in order to accomplish the goals that we set.
