Reporting to Head of IT, responsible for the day-to-day IT requirements of the company - user
management, troubleshooting, help and advice. Maintaining desktop applications, local area networks,
IT security and telecommunications. Client base of 500 Users and 6 sites across the UK.
Responsibilities
* Ownership and management of IT budgets and expenditure on hardware and software; recommending
and implementing improvements and efficiencies.
* Managing key stakeholders across the business to gauge needs and meet business requirements;
evaluate, test, advise, train and support I.T. related projects.
* Developing & maintaining the company IT systems, software and databases.
* Hardware and software installation, maintenance and repair; performing routine audits of
systems and software.
* Management of server software and associated backup routines.
* Managing internal & hosted network infrastructure including firewalls, servers, switches and
telephony.
* Managing the Service Desk, 4 staff and SLA's
Key Achievements
* Renegotiated Key Contracts saving the company thousands.
* Strengthened the IT infrastructure through implementation of new technologies such as a
migration to Office 365.
* Strong IT, commercial, planning and budgeting skills.
* Opening new branches and moving existing branches to new premises.
* Assisted sister company Lenz with setup of new offices in Germany.
* Deployed iPads to our field sales staff through Meraki MDM
