Rate&Goods is a huge service based on python and django rest framework, that aggregates
information about all goods in russian market. It is about 22 millions items with attributes,
descriptions and relations with user posts, reviews, likes, shopping lists, receipts etc.. I learned
how to improve legacy code and implement new features according to the client's needs, how to deploy
new features in a big project with zero downtime, work with queues and elasticsearch engine.
My responsibilities:
* Design and develop restful api for mobile apps and site
* Configure elasticsearch indexes and queries
* Optimize database requests (ORM and RawSql)
* RawSql database migrations with "zero downtime"
* Work with queues and celery
* Create documentation for api with swagger

At octoberweb I have been able to learn how to write code efficiently in a team,
saw a lot of different code styles from other developers and absorbed best practices.
All projects was based on python, django and postgresql.
My responsibilities:
* Design and develop restful api
* Data synchronization with external REST/SOAP API

* Asynchronous tasks with Celery/Huey

I have a hardware engineering background, but four years ago I decided to become a programmer. Now I have three years of commercial experience as python backend developer. Most of this time I created web applications with python, django, django drf and all common stack. I have about half a year of a remote work experience and I know how to communicate effectively with remote team.
The most important skill I have is an ability to learn and understand any technology in a finite amount of time =) I love TDD programming concept and try to stick to it. Since I love math from university, I'm taking a course in math statistics now. It is interesting for me to work with neural networks and data analytics, but I have no experience yet.
Unfortunately, I didn't contribute to open source projects, and all my last projects are commercial, so I can't boast of a beautiful github page. But I intend to correct this omission.
Out of duty I do snowboarding, acrobatics, kite-surfing and another sport activities.
I am going to relocate to Indonesia for half a year, that's why I am in the job market.
So, now I am looking for a fully remote python backend developer role with the ability to gain
some experience in machine learning.
