KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY:
Participated in the Telkom Airtel merger network and service integrations.
Managing application, database and network systems to ensure high availability and quality of services.
Service Quality Management- KPI’s and Change Management
Monitor project deliverables and validate implementation against design document.
Develop network KPIs and capacity Audits IN network.
Performance Management. Perform network performance and optimization activities to ensure network KPI's and are improved on agreed thresholds
Working with various teams to prepare a technology roadmap and be responsible for delivery of the same
Incident & Problem Management -Handling Incident to ensure Service Restoration within the SLA.
Network integrations and Service integrations with various teams
Configuring Firewalls, Switches and Routers to access destination nodes and devices.
Service Implementation and Development - Develop, utilize new products and service acceptance criteria
Network interventions and service interventions in service platforms.
Customer Escalation Management - to resolve issues encountered by customers and Execute service requests on behalf of internal users.
Systems optimizations and network performance
Manage configuration and operation of software applications
Automation of complex, manual and error-prone processes
Proactive Management-Implementation of service/business continuity plans, including coordinating regular Business Continuity Plan testing.
New requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation.
Monitoring the daily performance of services/applications and responding immediately to security or usability concerns
Installations of VPN connections end to end to access pinless airtime, smsc and ussd services.
Architecture and design
Software installations
Systems upgrades- Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution.
Investigations and analyzing services and network
Risk management-working on RCA’s after every downtime
Supporting business and executing their requirements
Report on project status, and service performance regularly
Vendor management- Managing vendors to ensure delivery of product & service quality.
Training new staff and Knowledge sharing.
