As a Techno-Function consultant, responsible for the following:
● Managing the business users’ requirements and their technical feasibility. Client communication and
issue management,
● Checking the report outputs and validity of the reports with the business Information.
● Creating custom reports according to the requirements from business users
● Monitoring the data loads and performance of the BW system and finding the bottle necks to improve
data loads and query performance.
● Validating the OTIF reports and broadcasting them to the users.
● Checking the feasibility of the changes requested from Business users and implementing them in due
course of time.
● Update and validate the Flat file data to the SAP BW system.

This project involved in the development of new technical content for SAP BI and providing development support to the SAP BW Customers facing issues with BW technical content.
My role as a BW Developer involves in solving the customer messages which were forwarded by the primary support team come for development support in the component BW-BCT-TCT and its underneath components. It also involved in fixing the internal technical content issues and bug fixes prior to the release of the support packs of the SAP BW versions. The job involved troubleshooting the Datasources of the Technical Content and their extraction for any errors, checking the Query executions and their outputs. Fixing the RRIs and enhancements for the queries that required if any for the Admincockpit.
Helped in fixing consulting issues in BW Technical content for clients – Nestle, BP Amoco, ATLAS Elektronik GmbH, Bosch (China) Investment Ltd, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing, Grainger Industrial Supply, Tokyo Metro Co., Ltd, Novartis , Nordea Bank AB Publ, BMW AG, Bentley Systems, Inc , Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd, Swiss Reinsurance Company Ltd ..
Created the following OSS Notes which included some code corrections and some consulting related settings which can be found in the SAP service market place. The code corrections of the note can be implemented by the tcode – SNOTE and the consulting fixes has to be made by the customer himself.
- Designed and developed the Finance and General Ledger BO Reports for the GE Industrial Solutions. Financial data is stored in SPO created wrt regions and years for optimal and faster reporting capabilities.
- Extracted CO and WBS data from SAP ERP to SAP BW and coordinated with the Qlikview team for QVD reports .
- Developed the objects for the flat file update from the other business to the SAP BW system with the complete data flow.
- Created hierarchies as requested by business user for GL Accounts and created corresponding Bex and Webi reports.
- Created PS-SD integration reports for calculating the project costs with reference to the orders.
- Working on the optimisation of the SCM data loads and reports. Reduced the data load timings significantly by optimising the ABAP routine codes in the routines and changing few BW settings for efficient data loads and reporting.
- Resolving the SAP BW incidents raised by Business users.
