Project description and main objectives: Roll out of new legal entities acquired from GBfoods into GBfoods business model, which its corresponding implementation in SAP. The main objective of the project is review current business processes and adapt their ways of working to GBfoods model without affecting the business. This project implies organizational changes in GBfoods, learn new business in Africa managed from India and teach the new ways of working to the new employees of GBfoods.
New company acquired is based in India, where all financial and administrative tasks are performed. Moreover, all third-party business (trading, import/export) is managed from India headquarter. However, production plants and selling companies are allocated in Ghana and Nigeria. That is why this project has 4 phases:
  1. Gap analysis of each country (Ghana, Nigeria and India).
  2. India roll out.
  3. Ghana roll out.
  4. Nigeria roll out.
I have participated and finalize first and second phases. In first phased I have travelled to Accra (Ghana), Lagos (Nigeria) and Chennai (India) to review their processes and identify possible gaps with GBfoods model. Also proposing solutions to gaps identified in all 3 countries and new ways of working in SAP for GBfoods.
Second phase is the implementation in SAP of all India business, master data uploading, user training and Go-Live.
