SAP Authorisation Service Lead.
* Designed and implemented methodology for controlling end user access to plants, fund centers,
cost centers, etc. Applied to both R/3 and BW/BI validated environments. Designed security
solution for FI/CO (AR, AP, SD, FA), CO, EP, FM, MM, QM, PM, PS, IM, HR (Time Entry, Travel)
inc. position based structural auths.
* Extensive customization of security solutions to match complex requirements liasing with
internal audit and validation requirements ISO9000
* Created and customized end user master roles and menus
* Set up security roles and user accounts for over 5000 End Users for phased Go Live. Security
role management and user accounts for three follow-on projects, including Business Warehouse
(BI 7.0) Analysis Authorisations , Master Data load analysis
* Set up Central User Administration (CUA) to manage multiple systems/clients
* Set up security for Enterprise Portal on NetWeaver 2004s (Java UME roles/users/groups/iviews)
* Set up security for Solution Manager systems including Transport Express
* Set up security on ERP 2005 system, SSO
* Introduced Sarbanes-Oxley and audit compliance issues to client. Led effort to obtain SAP
Approva Bizrights ( Insight/ Access Control) for security management and risk analysis of
Separation of Duties issues.
* Developed methodology and programs for continuous reconciliation of End User Database and R/3
system. Continuously improved security configuration to reflect best practices and to prepare
for internal and external audits.
* Identified redundant and potentially non key controls and replaced them with automated SAP
controls. Also assisted in standardizing these SAP controls across business units
* Provided guidance to the SOX officer related to the testing procedures for the newly
recommended automated controls as a part of the Sarbanes Oxley, Section 404 compliance
initiative, FDA-CSV
* Educated client personnel in R/3 Security and general Basis knowledge
