SAP S4 SD Consultant

RESPONSIBITIES
* Subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures for the SAP S4 HANA
Suite applications/modules like Sales and Distribution.
* Post implementation and hyper care, lead and support project initiatives to expand the usage of
the SAP solution to improve and expand SAP processes across the enterprise.
* Ensure adherence to change control process
* Coordinate overall project activities with client IT stakeholders (Program Leadership,
Relationship Management, etc.)
* Expert in all aspects of SAP implementation processes: business process analysis, system
configuration, testing, documentation, end-user training, and production support.
* Understand the role and importance of new SAP technologies, thus improving user experience (i.e.
Fiori )
* Experienced in complex implementations including custom solutions around SAP (user exits,
enhancements, custom programs)
* Conduct knowledge transfer and training of end-users, including sharing best practices
* Open to learning and staying current on next generation applications in the SAP ecosystem
* Ensure documentation repository for project team collaboration
* Leading diverse teams to mitigate and solve issues and keep projects on schedule
* Providing leadership and direction to software development teams for development processes,
tools and metrics; rolled out Agile practices in teams

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
* Lead FICA module in SAP S/4 HANA project of American media and publishing house with complex
integrations.
* Lead a greenfield implementation of SAP S/4 HANA system of a multinational South African pharma
major from onsite.
* Successfully delivered Goods & Services Tax (GST) implementation projects in Swiss multinational
pharmaceutical company based in Switzerland for its local pharma divisions in India. Parallel
implementations in different landscape for Indian government tax laws compliance.
* Managed OTC deliveries of support engagement project of large scale of an American and British
multinational alcoholic beverages company in 24/7 mode including its build factory model.
* Lead OTC team of worlds largest American beverages company consisting of scheduling, monitoring
reviewing and controlling of the production support so as to meet agreed SLAs in order to
successfully execute the project to the client.
* Reduced the resource count and increased margin by initiating, developing and running automation
by low skill team. Resulted over 20 percent resource reduction in a year plus high customer
satisfaction.
* Managed large enhancement projects as part of program leading revenue increase, resource
utilization and customer bonding in competitive edge in a multinational professional audit
services account.
* Managed parallel and mix of SAP projects comprising of enhancements, support and rollout with
diversified clients across globe in heavy engineering, boiler and tools industry as part of
shared services. This resulted in reducing cost in all projects.
* Managed in house support plus rollouts to other branches of India's biggest and multinational
chain of pathology labs & diagnostics centers resulting in integration of joint ventures and
smooth business as captive investment.
* Successfully completed small implementations from pre-sales to support for medium and light
engineering manufacturing clients.
