Designation - Software Analyst (DP and SNP functional consultant).
Roles & Responsibilities - Support.
* Set up of process chains/monitoring of background jobs, mass master data corrections.
* Worked on creation of BW objects (Info Areas, Info Objects, Info Cubes, Info source,
Source system, Info Package, Characteristics and Key Figures.
* Worked on Demand Planning calculations using Statistical Forecasting techniques.
* Have understanding on Heuristic and its type Location, Multilevel, Network.
* Analyzing CIF failures/queue blocks, stuck queues in CPP and reconciliation.

Roles and Responsibilities - Support and Enhancements.
* Understanding & analysis of the Deployment Optimizer and various deployment push/pull
scenarios.
* Have understanding on Master data of production Planning i.e.- Material Master, BOM, Routing,
Work Center, Recipe etc.
* Requirement Profiles, Forecast Consumption strategies and know the relevant configurations
required for that.
* Worked on SNP and Deployment Optimizers, Optimizer Profiles definition, Optimizer logs
analysis etc.
* Streamlining the existing SNP process by modifications and enhancements/customizations.
* Working on Optimizer planning engine which involves Fortnightly/weekly/ad-hoc Distribution
run.
* Working on new enhancements from functional configuration and Unit testing.
* Worked on the planning/cost related issues related to SNP optimizer along with the new
optimizer profile set up for new SKU's/ Plants/SNP planners.
* Worked on end-to-end Distribution starting from Deployment to TLB.
* Creation of TLB profile, Upsizing/Downsizing techniques, Threshold value, building business
required truck loads via TLB.
* Worked on SNP Optimizer logs analysis and various settings related to SNP product master and
optimizers.

* Working on new enhancement from functional configuration and Unit testing and deployment.
* Worked on Realignment activity, Releasing of forecast to SNP.
* Worked on configuration related to Time Bucket Profile, Storage Bucket Profile, macro.
* Worked with technical teams on delivering the customized client requirements.
* Understanding & analysis of the deployment heuristic run and its results, used to deploy
inventory between plant(s) and DC(s) based on the Push/Pull scenarios.
* Understanding of Transportation Load builder and distribution of transport loads.
* Analyzing forecasting errors for selecting the best Forecasting technique in DP.

* Statistical Forecasting calculations. Setting up Master forecast profile for Statistical
Forecast calculation.
* Analyzing Optimizer logs to identify issues in optimized production plan.
* Release of Demand plan to SNP from APO Cube and DP Planning area.
* Created end to end process chains as per the business requirement.
* Investigating SNP Master data errors for smooth working on SNP Planning engines.
* Setting up proper Production and shipping Calendar specific to Locations in APO.
* Handling trouble tickets and resolving the issues within agreed timelines.
* Daily/Weekly update calls with Business/clients on enhancements.
