Project Description: COGS Recon (GL-RTR)
Derivation of KPIs related to Inventory, Freight, Manufacturing Variance and Timing in comparison
with net sales.
Project involved implementation of SAP HANA Analytics solution in Record to Report (RTR) functional
area. High performance architecture was designed and developed to bring data from SAP BW and
Teradata systems.
SAP BusinessObjects Design Studio was used for creating COGS Reconciliation Dashboard

Responsibilities:
Complete responsibilities for
* Technical Design - Prepared technical solution for the business requirement by using SAP
Business Warehouse- Infocubes, ADSO and Composite Providers to SAP HANA and also extracting
non-SAP data from Teradata to Native HANA environment via SAP BODS as an ETL tool.
* Solution Development
* Created HANA models by joining SAP as well as non - SAP tables.
* Created Calculation views for Comparison KPIs for Price, Freight and Timing.
* Created HANA views for deriving Mix, Change-in-sales and COGS deviation metrics.
* Created HANA model for derivation of Mix Impact KPI by using Mix, Change-in-sales and
COGS Deviation models as sub views.
* Created calculation views for manufacturing variance and FX comparison KPIs.
* Created the End user HANA view by incorporating Mix Impact, FX, Timing, Price and
Manufacturing Comparison KPIs for deriving 'Inventory Comparison' KPI.
* SAP BusinessObjects Design Studio Dashboard used as front end.

* Solution Deployment - Cutover and production deployment of SAP BW/HANA solution &
BusinessObjects Design Studio Application.

Project Description: KPI Dashboard and Digital Commerce Solutions (DCS) KPI
Project involved planning, creating blue print and implementing SAP HANA Analytics solution in
Digital Commerce Solutions area of the company.
KPI Dashboard - Derivation and implementation of various Key Performance Indicators for Inventory,
Sales, Freight and manufacturing variance.
DCS KPIs: Key Performance Indicators derived for measuring Incoming Traffic, Engagement Index,
Baseline Content and Customer Satisfaction related to DCS solutions
SAP BusinessObjects Design Studio was used for creating DCS Dashboard

Project Description: BEx to HANA Conversion
Project involved transforming BEx queries in the form of HANA views using HANA enabled BW targets
such as DSO, Cubes and DSO active tables as source and create reports on top of HANA models to
achieve better performance.

Responsibilities:

* Solution Design
* Used HANA enabled DSOs, Cubes or with DSO Active Tables as the source for creating SAP
HANA Information models.
* Solution Development
* Performed feasibility analysis of BEx queries to convert into HANA views.
* Transform BEx queries in the form of HANA views using HANA enabled Infoproviders, DSO
Active tables, Attributes and Text tables.
* Reports are created on top of HANA models for better performance.
* Complied with the quality, performance and coding standards as per client standards.
* Unit testing of developed objects in Development environment.
* Performance testing of developed objects in Quality environment.
