Project history

I started working as developer back in 2008 at a software factory for foreign clients.
After that I worked remotely for a year and a half for a United States based client, whom which I had the experience to handle 1 million records at day (~500MM/quarter) in a MySQL database that I developed myself.
I processed phone surveys results for the USA 2012 election, matching rows, getting best values, calculating statistics and ZIPping/FTPing results programatically.

Then I joined as developer and later on as team leader for the site www.mundogaturro.com and we did the full rewrite of www.picapon.com.The latter is a clone of Facebook but restricted to kids, users of Mundo Gaturro. For this product we used websockets and Redis for real time notifications, 2-stages moderation (a local daemon -written by me- in PHP and a 3rd party service), Elasticsearch for friendship relations and other actions.

In the same company, but for another product called Mublet I developed a local stores guide a-la Yelp! based on Solr Search Engine and which was then ported to guia.clarin.com with hundreds of thousands documents. That data was pulled off from a MySQL database and transformed to fit Solr’s indexes, with geospatial sorting for results, scores and all that fancy stuff.
Since ends of 2014 I had a break for family reasons and I wasn’t writing code, but still got connected and updated to all this that I love.
In 2019 I got back to the fields and I’m currently working as freelance or remote developer, mainly in Laravel and playing around with Angular2, Typescript and Vue.
Among my last works there are services to communicate a Southamerican country Customs office with their Central Bank for order validation, and a batch-style data consumption from argentinean “AFIP” for a company that sells enriched data.
Due the nature of the projects in which I was/am involved almost all my work was/is hidden. I work with private repositories so -unfortunately- anyone won’t find much of my code around the web.

Local Availability

Only available in these countries: Argentina
I'm only available to work remotely, at GMT -3:00.

Other

I'm not *cheap*. Often freelancing portals are plenty of them.
It's not my style to go preying projects or clients.
I'm working professionally since more than a decade.
If you want  to work seriously and with quality, contact me.
