Level 1 and level 2 ISP NOC support engineer. The job was to file the incoming technical
requests from the clients/subscribers, by phone or email and identify the problem. Most
problems were solved by or team (level 1 & level 2 support), but in the other cases we
were escalating the issues to the level 3 team.
Another part of the job was monitoring the network infrastructure and NOC datacenter
with the help of some publicly available software as Cacti and Nagios, as well as some
in-house made software.
As the NOC shared the same location as the datacenter housing the our core network
infrastructure as well as some customer equipment, our team was also in charge of maintaining
that equipment from both hardware and software point of view.

hardware and software, generating weekly / monthly reports, maintaining the communications

the work is done by phone or remote desktop, but it also involves going on site.
Developed a branch intranet that provides automated reports based on SAS , MS-Sql




and displayed using CristalReports. Developed a windows platform that works with UNIX
servers via telnet for automating reports and easy access over the main banking software.
Because there are 24 locations that i manage and dealing with low on site resources
( 64kb communication tunnel) I developed o software that automatically maintains the
workstations and informs me of the problem; it also integrates a module for gathering
hardware information ( serial numbers, model numbers) of the workstation and all the
printers.
I also developed a software for remote controlling a Sunlight generator set.
