Global Integration services are intended to be the banks backbone interconnecting the source systems with the frontend applications in a loosely coupled manner. Canada wealth management deals with portfolio management of HNI people High Net worth Individual, this starts with client onboarding and then portfolio management. This forms the enterprise service bus where the services are exposed as web services. The ESB is built using the latest IIB offering from IBM. The services exposed are Account, Event, payment transfer, bank service profile. Workflow and Document Management project consists of 10 applications, namely Client source, Workflow and eKYC built on Vitria framework, mLink, Insurance Scanning, CS Scanning, MessageNet, OPENS, Docunet and Servicelink. The mentioned applications facilitate the Client On boarding process for Wealth Management Division.

Channel Integration includes execution of the campaign through the fulfillment vendors and the channel responses. Fulfillment Vendors are companies which execute a campaign and send out the promotion on behalf of MetLife. This can include both Direct Mail Vendors and EMarketing Vendors. There are many applications like SFDC, iApp GSP, Tiversa, DELL maintain campaign data. Response vendors send response feeds on various events to MetLife. Events captured are Application, Call Center and Policy Events. These responses are further standardized by events before being passed to SAS or Epsilon.

Barclays Enterprise Middleware (BEM) is the Middleware application for Barclays Bank UK. RIS (Routing and Integration Services) is a foundation layer, a common framework which comprises of Error Handling, Logging, Routing, Reconciliation, Validation, Auditing & Configuration Manager which is build  using IBM Web Sphere MQ (WMQ v7) & IBM Web Sphere Message Broker (WMB v6.1) for implementation of Central layer linking with various end points systems. The primary transport mechanism will be EAI layer to major systems (that include CITI, Phoenix, DCP, Dakota, GPU, SMS, AFTS, FP) to communicate with each other. All the communication between frontend and backend applications is loaded, transformed and routed through RIS architecture.
