Project history
Freudenberg is building a new distribution center for their industrial sealings. The business has chosen to build and operate a new state of the art distribution center. The distribution center will be partly automated and will have streamlined processes to increase throughput and decrease errors. The project’s goal is to perform the transition from the old distribution center to the new one.
My responsibilities in this project include to manage the IT developments and customizations in SAP EWM, to organize the integration of the new label printing technology and to manage the efforts of the new service provider for the new building to have everything in place for the go-live date.
My tasks include leading the international team of over 40 members, creating and maintaining the overall project plan, following up on the gap list, coordinating the efforts of multiple external vendors, leading regular meetings, risk analysis, stakeholder management and reporting to the management.
Coca-Cola European Partners is the European bottler of Coca-Cola. As part of several mergers, the IT landscape needs to be consolidated and harmonized. Starting with master data, a new piece of software is being introduced. My responsibilities are the part projects for customer and vendor master data. The project teams include external consultants, as well as the SMEs and other stakeholders. I created the project charters and a project plan. My duties include to organize weekly meetings with the project team, to manage stakeholder expectations, to monitor and control the work and the deliverables from the external consultants and to facilitate change requests, which appear, as we deepen the as-is analysis and drive the to-be design of the processes.
