? Project Swap 2G for Tunisiana:
Worked on this project as 2G BSS Engineer: the main task of this project was to swap the 2G radio network in “Grand Tunis” from Alcatel equipment to NSN equipment, in this project we integrated 12 Flexi BSC and more than 400 BTS.

? Implementation of 3G Network for Tunisiana (QTEL) :
This Project is the first commercial & biggest NSN 900MHZ RF Sharing network Worldwide in front of T-Mobile, SFR & USA. I started this project from the first phase as 3G RAN Engineer (RNC & Node B), our target was to commission, integrate & upgrade 6 RNC’s with OMS’s and more than 700 NodeB’s , this project started with RU20 Release than we did major Upgrade to RU30 Release.
Technical tasks:
o Worked with RU20/ RU30
o Importing/Running XML plans with CM editor/provisioning (Netact)
o Commissioning RNC2600, Standalone OMS and Node B
o Integration and creating all interfaces on RNC2600 for IP (Iu-CS, Iu-PS, Iur, Iub …)
o Integrating RNC to Standalone OMS and to Netact.
o Deployment of UMTS 900 & RF Sharing & Dual Cell in all Node B.
o Major Upgrading RNC & OMS SW from RU20 to RU30.
o Upgrading RNC & OMS SW versions and on top modules.
o Upgrading Node B.
o Upgrade Hardware RNC2600 from Step 1 to Step 2 and Step3.

o Acceptance tests of RNC2600.
o Integrating more than 600 WBTS.
o Supporting Site Solution engineers when our second line support is out of ideas or lacks knowledge for how to solve an issue.
o Sites Rehosting from one RNC to another.
o Activation and configuration of RET (Remote electrical antenna tilt) for flexi BTS.
o Supporting & Working together with other teams to solve faults issues (PS core, CS Core, Transmission, NPO …)
o Troubleshooting & Alarm Management of RNC and Node B Faults in the RAN
o Using Fishing macros to find certain issues, KPI’s that has been affected, or IMSI traces (during drive tests for example), etc, and analyzing with EMIL tool
o Monitor network availability and KPI on RAN & RNC level using Reporting Suite.
o RESOLVE (BMC remedy User) ticket tool
o Creating various MOP (Method Of Procedure) & planning to the customer.
o Constantly Making Reports to improve the performance of the network (Alarms reports, network status reports…)
o Escalating cases and working with NSN Care
o Monitoring, Supervision, log collection and traces Analysis (TN38, DMX Monitoring, BTS log, Memory Dump, TTI traces…)
o 24/7 on call, every week.
