I inherited a WordPress site that has a poorly implemented custom theme that was created by a designer in Brazil. The design is lovely but the methods underlying it do not conform to WP standards. I cannot version the site forward, add menu items, seo, other elements without opening up the template pages and adding the code by hand. This is not acceptable. I will show you the problems in the interview process.- I need the look and feel recreated exactly with no variation from the original.
- The theme should be installable via the WordPress Add Theme process and should not break any aspect of the standard WordPress install.
- It also needs to be compatible with standard plugins like Yoast, BBQ, Ithemes Security, WooCommerce, etc…
I am very flexible on cost, what I need is a real pro on this one.
