I am looking to create a multivendor marketplace with WordPress. I have looked at the options and it seems my list is down to Dokan and WC Vendors.https://wedevs.com/dokan/comparison/

I have not worked with either of these previously, I am looking for advice or information from anyone who might have experience working with these plugins. ANY INFORMATION helps. here are some details about my needs.
- I am providing a veterinary products and services marketplace. this marketplace will potentially have 100's if not 1000's of vendors.
Problem 1: vendors selling similar products cluttering the search results -- I would prefer the site to function like Amazon NOT like Ebay.
- EXAMPLE: If 10 vendors offer the same product, only one product should show up in the search result. (I DO NOT WANT 10 product with the same name, price, description and rating)
- I was told Dokan is working on this. And should have something available in 2-3 months.
- It seems WC Vendors does not have this, and based on a post from their site I do not believe anyone is working on it either.
Problem 2: I need to involve another role:
- my customers are pet owners,
- my vendors are people who sell pet products.
- But we also need a 3rd Role, which is Animal Shelters.
- These Animal Shelters receive part of the commission from products sold.
? I would like each vendor to be able to Select a shelter from a the list of registered shelters, this will indicate which shelter to send % of the commission payment to.
§ Payment doesn’t need to be automated, just tracked which shelter is linked to that account
? Example. I have 3 Vendors (A,B,C) and I have 3 shelters (1,2,3)
§ Vendor A, wants to link Shelter 2
Problem 3: sending support commission to the shelter
- I want to take 10% total commission and place 5% into my account and 5% into the animal shelter account linked to the vendor
- EXAMPLE: pet owner(customer) buys a $10.00 product. From Vendor A
? Recall that Vendor A has linked Shelter 2 to receive commission
? $1.00 total commission Is taken
? $0.50 goes to Shelter 2
? $0.50 goes to the website (my company)
- If there is ANYWAY to automate this payment process on a monthly Basis I would love to speak with someone about this.
