- Role: Senior Software Developer (Java and VB)
- Location: Luxembourg
- Job Type: Contract
- Salary: €300 per day (depending on experience)
My client, a government organisation, are looking to recruit an experienced Software Developer for a very long term contract role.
The contract role will initially last until the end of 2019 and have the option of three more 12 month extensions.
As this is a contract role, you will only be paid for the days that you work.
Please note this is a part time role, working three days per week in Luxembourg.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience with the following:
- Development and roll-out experience with Java, VBA and MS Office Macros (Access & Excel);- Good understanding of a modern IT architecture; - Professional experience in Java;
- Good understanding of and experience with SQL, XML, XSLT;
- Experience with the following financial IT systems are considered as an asset : SWIFT, Murex, Bloomberg;
- Proven customer oriented change management communication skills;
- Good Project Management skills: ability to manage multiple tasks under competing deadlines and shifting priorities;
- 4-6 years of direct experience with similar and relevant IT projects;
- Experience in providing reporting and other communications at a senior management level;
- Ability to document clear and complete business requirements;
The salary this role is based on experience.
