Proteus Europe is searching for a Front-End Web Developer to join a prestigious client based in Cambridge, UK. This is a contract position with a duration of 6 months.Our Client :-

Your New role :-
Experienced UI developer required to work on our Network Digital Twin team developing Cloud-based mapping applications, primarily for the Utilities and Telecomms industries. The individual would be expected to provide expert hands-on support for our UI development.
Your Skills and Qualifications :-
Essential Skills :-
- Modern web application technologies: Polymer 2.0, Web Components, Service Workers, Bower, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, LESS, JQuery and MVC
- Experience in building UI components/elements from scratch.
- Experience in visualising complex and/or large volumes of data
- Experience in building apps on top of restful APIs using large volumes of data
- An understanding of and experience in using node.js
- A strong understanding of application architectures, with an emphasis on modern web architectures
- Knowledge of UI testing frameworks
- Knowledge of key UX and design principles
- Experience of working in an Agile environment
- Experience making web sites that perform well and follow best practices
Desirable Skills :-
- Experience of canvas rendering in JavaScript
- Experience in one of the main Web mapping technologies (Leaflet, Open Layers, Mapbox)
- Experience in the following technologies: Angular 2, React, npm, gulp-sass, Unity, Cesium, D3, other gaming technologies
- Experience of developing mobile (phone, tablet) applications and using responsive design
- Knowledge of Web Security principles - OWASP
- Knowledge of the Predix Design System
