Description

The Operational Account Manager is the primary contact for Global Custody Clients in the
Netherlands regarding their day-to-day operational queries. The Account Manager interacts with operational departments, Team Leaders and other international Account Managers to resolve global custody related problems and identifying potential issues on a pro-active and client focused basis.


Responsibilities



  • Provide day-to-day operational support to the Asset Owner making sure that their problems are solved swiftly and professionally.
  • Improve and develop your relationship with the client by taking absolute ownership of all
    operational queries addressed by the client.
  • Able to solve and or coordinate all international tax issues and queries which are related to the global portfolio of the clients.
  • Monitoring of all internal controls which are global custody related.
    Adhere to and maintain internal procedures, standing instructions etc. for your assigned clients and ensure that back-offices and other involved departments are fully aware of and comply with these procedures and standards.
  • Ensure a satisfactory and timely resolution of all queries by liaising with other internal
    departments dealing with settlements, corporate actions, taxation, income, proxy voting, classactions
  • Ensure Operational Excellence by providing and discussing MIS reports and action logs.
  • Assure local understanding of the client and filter between client and organization.
  • Establish knowledge delegation to the Asset owner (pensionfund).
  • Work in tandem with Relationship- and Client Service Manager to create client understanding both locally and globally




Requirements



  • HBO education or proven working level
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a Global Custody environment
  • Sound knowledge of international tax matters relating to Global Custody
  • In-depth knowledge of the Global Custody products and processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Dutch and English
  • Experience in professional client contact
  • Working experience within the Financial Markets
  • Only candidates that are already residing in The Netherlands can be considered
