A leading financial services bank are looking for a Financial Reporting Accountant to join their team within the insurance division in order to assist in the preparation of statutory accounts. WHATS ON OFFER FOR A FINANCIAL REPORTING ACCOUNTANT:
Key Responsibilities:
- Production of monthly management reports in lines with current accounting standards
- Preparation of month end routines, accounts and operations.
- Producing journals and keeping the month end procedures up to date with changing requirements
- Balance sheet reconciliation requirements
- Preparing and providing comprehensive and coherent commentary on the Management Accounts
- Assist in pulling together statutory accounts information at year end to aid the audit process
Experience and Qualifications need to be successful for financial reporting accountant:
- Qualified accountant ( CIMA/CFA/ACA/ACCA/FCCA)
- Background in Insurance
- Experience working within the financial services industry
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines when required
